7-26-09  I was thinking earlier today about a little tree that I had

transplanted.  I thought that when I was looking upon it how I saw

that it was withering up and dying.  It came to my mind that if we

don't get the word planted deep into our hearts that when the

storms come that we won't be able to stand; that like the tree

we'll start to die out and lose our hold on the solid ground.  We

need to dig down deep into the word and continually nourish

our spirits with the word of God.  Otherwise when the enemy

comes it will be easier for him to overtake us.  It is written for

us to delight ourselves in His word.  It's by the word that we'll

be able to stand.  The Bible talks about that there is life and

Spirit in the word.  So many times the enemy has come to

attack me and only by prayer and standing on God's word was

I able to defeat him.  We are to even remind God of His promises.

But, if we never read the word we won't know what the word says. I

know that He is no respecter of persons.  1John 3:21, 22  Beloved,

if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

22 - And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep

his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

(So, children let's obey the word of God and do those things that

please the Lord and keep ourselves pure before him.)  Then we know

that we can find favor with God.  I want to walk in a way that I know

that God will be able to use me.  I need to keep my eyes from seeing

anything that would displease Him and keep my ears from listening

to anything that isn't pure and Holy.  It's written in His word to depart

from evil and not to go near it.  I have my Bible at work and I read it

during breaks.  I sit by myself away from others because of bad things

that come out of their mouths or bad actions.  People may see me as

being different.  But, the word says that God's people are peculiar.

They won't want to party anymore or do the things they used to do.

But, oh... the rewards you'll receive by seperating yourself from the

world.  I have been through many trials that have only made me

stronger.  I've held my peace even when the enemy was raging

around me.  I've humbled myself down so that I could get ahold of

a power from on high.  Love is the fulfilling of the law and those

that are born of God are born of love.

Even those that have come against me; I've prayed and asked the Lord to

forgive them for they know not what they do.  I've asked Him to save

their souls.  (Faith worketh by love.)  I didn't know I was going to write

all of this but God knows what is needed.  I just got on here to tell about

a little tree that was dying because it didn't have what it took to hold it

into solid ground.  Remember, we can overcome by the blood of the Lamb

and the word of our testimony.  Stay strong in Him by prayer, reading

and meditating on His word and keeping His commandments and always

put Him first in your lives.  Talk to Him throughout the day and sing and

make melody in your heart unto the Lord.  Thanking Him always in all

things.  Don't go around complaining but thanking Him for what He's done

and is still doing in your life.  (And above all things..DON'T FORGET TO

LIFT YOUR HANDS AND PRAISE HIM!!!)

Keep the faith.  Your sister in the Lord, Glenda.

Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

Gal 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

Gal 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Many are not being led by the Spirit because they hold onto the darkness.  Fear, anger, jealousy, bitterness and anything negative.  They want God to move for them,  but they're holding onto things that are not pleasing to God.  Our minds are to be renewed by the word of God.  We are to become a new creature in Christ Jesus.  We are not to let the flesh lead us but the Spirit.

1 Peter 2:1  Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,      2:2  As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

1 Peter 1:15  But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

It is important to take time out to read The Holy Bible.  You can only learn the truth if you know for yourself what the word says.  How can you rightly divide the word if you have only read a few chapters or go on what someone else has told you?  The truth will set you free.

Psalm 119:10  With my whole heart have I sought thee;  O let me not wander from thy commandments.  119:11  Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Psalm 119:2  Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

Psalm:119:3  They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

It means something to walk close to the Lord.  To have a relationship with him that is well pleasing in his sight.  Through prayer and fasting and seeking God there can be a deeper walk to get into.  I know through experience that we can walk in a way that He will hear us and answer our prayers.  He has moved through healings and through things that I've prayed for.   Only God could have done these things.   He has given me spiritual dreams and even visions to show me things to come to pass.  (I plan on writing more about these things later in my dreams and visions and testimonies page)   So, let's start today to have a closer walk with God so we can be used by him for greater things.  May God bless and use each one of you that reads this web-sight and take you to places where you've never been to before (spiritually speaking).

From your sister in the Lord,  Glenda

5-18-09  It grieves my Spirit to see how

people portray themselves as Christians on

the computer.  They say they love the Lord,

but their words, pictures and music betray them.

You can not hold onto evil and please the Lord.

The music we listen to, the things we view; the

things we say must portray us as a Christian.

We are to walk before Him in holiness.  The

way is straight and narrow.  We are to depart

from evil and not to go near it. The young are

being pulled into a circle of friends that they

should seperate themselves from.  (Adults too!)

Unless the Lord is leading you to witness to them,

but don't  partake in their ways or condone what

they do as right. If they say they love Jesus and

yet are letting the the things in their life (like rock

music or cussing, etc.) keep them from fully serv-

ing the Lord then they are only deceiving them-

selves. These things are not of God.  You must

depart from this!!  Don't be influenced by

a circle of bad friends.  We are to love others but

not to let them influence our walk with God. We

are to become a new creature in Christ Jesus by

the renewing of our mind.  Keep your hearts fo-

cussed on Jesus and the Word of God, then you

can't go wrong.  Sin has a price to pay. (Death)

Rom 6:16  Know ye not, that to whom ye yield

yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are

to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or

of obedience unto righteousness.  (Be ye holy,

for He is holy)  We are to be a light that others

may see.  Anything evil in our lives will dim or

put out our light.  In the Bible it talks about the

the five foolish and the five wise virgins.  Mathew

25:2  and five of them were wise and five of them

were foolish.  25:3  They that were foolish took

their lamps, and took no oil with them:  25:4  But

the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

25:6  And at midnight there was a cry made, Be-

hold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet

him.  (Will you be ready when the bridegroom

comes?)  Don't let your lights go out!!

Today is 5-10-09 (Sun.)

A little bit about myself:  My grandpa

John was a Pentecostal preacher.  A

few of his sons under him also be-

came preachers and then some of

his grandsons. They followed in his

footsteps.  My mother was a good

Christian woman who knew how to

pray for her children.  I would hear

her calling out our names as she pray-

ed.  I started serving the Lord 7-9-98.

I received the Holy Ghost in 2-26-00.

        (I thank God for praying mothers;

and the prayers of others.) I

         have a wonderful husband, four

         grown children and fifteen grand-

children. I believe in the old time

holiness way.  I have been blessed

by the Lord. He has used me to lay

hands on the sick, to prophesy and

to carry out His signs.  I am only what

I am by the grace of God.  I thank Him

for His mercy upon me.  I pray that I

will continue to grow spiritually and

accept His will into my life each and

every day.  My desire is to see more

souls saved to advance the kingdom

of God.  (I thank God for my Lord

          and Savior Jesus Christ!!)

              Blessings from your sister

               in the Lord Jesus, Glenda
